A gun attack was launched on a southern California church, killing one person and wounding five others before churchgoers detained the suspect and hog-tied him in what officials called an act of “exceptional heroism. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed this incident on Twitter where he said the shooting occurred before 1:30pm on Sunday (20:30 GMT) at the Geneva Presbyterian Church located in the town of Laguna Woods, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) southeast of Los Angeles, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said on Twitter. Al Jazeera reports that a man was killed at the scene and four others were critically injured, while a fifth injured person suffered minor injuries. Prince Joseph Kpokpogri, estranged lover of controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has been demolished by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in Abuja.  The mansion, which is in the Asokoro area, was invaded on Saturday at about 8am by officials of the FCT Administration with a bulldozer which began to demolish the building.  The owner of the building, Kpokpogri and ex-lover of Dikeh, expressed shock saying he was not pre-informed by the officials about the demolition which he described as illegal. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Taraba State chapter has said that Nigeria is turning into a valley of death as a result of increasing killings going on in the country.   The association was reacting to the recent bomb explosion in Army brigade headquarters in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, the killing of soldiers and the terrorist attacks in Takum and Ussa councils, as well as in Yangtu Special Development Area. Operatives of the Rapid d'intervention Battalion, a Cameroonian military unit in the Bakassi Peninsula, have killed a commander of the pro-Biafra group, the Biafra Nations League.  According to a statement by Ita Bassey, leader of the Bakassi chapter of BNL, the deceased commander was killed during an operation on Wednesday.  The deceased led the armed group who attacked a boat in a bid to abduct the three tourists, and one security personnel onboard. The corpse of the commander has since been handed over to the Nigerian Military, Bassey said. "He was captured in his house, we are not aware if he was part of the attack on the boat on Wednesday, but what we know is that he has been killed and his remains handed to Nigerian Military," he stated. At least three residents of Imama Ugbawka in Nkanu East and Umuhu Eha-Amufu in the Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State have been killed by suspected herdsmen.  According to reports, several other persons were wounded in the attacks which were carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday. During the attack in Ugbawka on Tuesday, the herders allegedly invaded farmland and killed two labourers hired from Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, to cultivate crops on the farm, Eha-Amufu’s incident occurred on Wednesday at Agba-Esher. A community leader in Umuhu, Eha-Amufu, Odo Francis, said the herders numbering about seven with AK-47s blocked Nkalagu-Eha-Amufu Road. “Unfortunately, an Okada rider from Amade Eha-Amufu who was carrying two persons got to the point.
