Elon musk pays Hostess $250,000 to keep quiet over sexual harassment

Aflight attendant who accused SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk of sexually harassing her on a flight in 2016, was reportedly paid $250,000 to remain silent on the matter. The air hostess was paid by SpaceX in 2018 to settle the claim of sexual misconduct against Elon Musk. Norway to increase gas exports to Europe

Norway will allow state-controlled Equinor (EQNR.OL) and its partners to increase gas exports from two offshore fields for the next 12 months amid concerns over a shortage of European gas supplies that have sent prices soaring. Equinor, Europe's second-largest gas supplier after Russia's Gazprom (GAZP.MM), said on Monday the government was allowing a combined 2 billion cubic metres (bcm) increase in exports for the gas year starting Oct. 1 from the Troll and Oseberg fields. The increase corresponds to nearly 2% of Norway's annual pipeline gas exports, according to Reuters calculations. The front-month gas price at the Dutch TTF hub, a European benchmark, has more than tripled this year to record levels, driving up power prices as the winter heating season approaches with below-average levels of gas in storage. Guinea’s interim head of state, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, has warned national team players that they must win the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon next month or refund the money invested in them. According to him, the national team will reimburse every money invested in them if they fail to win the tournament. The Netherlands will go into a strict lockdown from today and over the Christmas and New Year period to contain the highly- contagious Omicron COVID-19 variant, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on Saturday. All non-essential shops and services, including restaurants, hairdressers, museums and gyms will be closed from Sunday until Jan. 14. All schools will be shut until at least Jan. 9. “The Netherlands is again shutting down. That is unavoidable because of the fifth wave that is coming at us with the Omicron variant,” Rutte told a televised news conference. Other measures include a recommendation that households receive no more than two visitors and that gatherings outside are also limited to a maximum of two people.
