Elon musk pays Hostess $250,000 to keep quiet over sexual harassment

Aflight attendant who accused SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk of sexually harassing her on a flight in 2016, was reportedly paid $250,000 to remain silent on the matter. The air hostess was paid by SpaceX in 2018 to settle the claim of sexual misconduct against Elon Musk. Guns fired at Ukraine Presidential aides

A volley of shots was fired at a car carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's principal aide on Wednesday in what a senior official called an assassination attempt. More than 10 bullets hit the car near the village of Lesnyky, around 5 km(3 miles) outside the capital Kyiv, wounding the driver, a police statement said. It said a criminal case on suspicion of premeditated murder had been opened. A local television station said at least 19 bullet holes could be seen on the driver's side of the car. A senior lawmaker said the aide, Serhiy Shefir, was not hurt. Shefir is close to the president, leading a group of advisers. Zelenskiy, who came to power on a promise to take on the country's oligarchs and fight corruption, is currently in the United States at the U.N. General Assembly. Guinea’s interim head of state, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, has warned national team players that they must win the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon next month or refund the money invested in them. The Syli Nationale are paired in Group B of the AFCON alongside Malawi, Senegal, and Zimbabwe. According to him, the national team will reimburse every money invested in them if they fail to win the tournament. Netherlands to shut down until Jan 14

The Netherlands will go into a strict lockdown from today and over the Christmas and New Year period to contain the highly- contagious Omicron COVID-19 variant, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on Saturday. All non-essential shops and services, including restaurants, hairdressers, museums and gyms will be closed from Sunday until Jan. 14. All schools will be shut until at least Jan. 9. “The Netherlands is again shutting down. That is unavoidable because of the fifth wave that is coming at us with the Omicron variant,” Rutte told a televised news conference. Other measures include a recommendation that households receive no more than two visitors and that gatherings outside are also limited to a maximum of two people.
