Elon musk pays Hostess $250,000 to keep quiet over sexual harassment

Aflight attendant who accused SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk of sexually harassing her on a flight in 2016, was reportedly paid $250,000 to remain silent on the matter. The air hostess was paid by SpaceX in 2018 to settle the claim of sexual misconduct against Elon Musk. Elon Musk The attendant, who used to work on a contract basis for the corporate jet fleet of SpaceX, accused Musk of exposing himself to her, rubbing her leg without consent and offering to buy her a horse or an erotic massage, the Business Insider reported. Buhari, Boris sign Bilateral agreement

President Muhammadu Buhari and Prime Minister Boris Johnson of Britain Thursday, appraised the war against different forms of terrorism in Nigeria, and agreed that the judicial process be allowed to run its course. Holding bilateral talks at the sidelines of the Global Education Summit in London, the two leaders said it was important that the judicial process runs without interference, no matter who was involved. President Buhari briefed the Prime Minister on Nigeria’s power needs and efforts being made, as well as initiatives geared at achieving food security. He also reviewed the security situation in the different regions of the country, while PM Johnson pledged Britain’s preparedness to lend a helping hand. “We are available to help,” he said. The two leaders equally discussed how to increase trade between the two countries, develop solar and wind power, leadership of the Commonwealth going forward and other matters of mutual interest.

*To establish International Financial Centre in 12 months Plans are underway for establishment of the Nigerian International Financial Centre, NIFC, in the next 12 months, just as the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, gets set to roll out the N15 trillion Infrastructure Corporation of Nigeria (Infra-Co) next month. Disclosing these at the ongoing 14th annual banking and finance conference organised by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN, in Abuja yesterday, Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele, said, the NIFC will act as an international gateway for capital and investments in the country. The company whose establishment was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari in February, is expected to get its initial seed capital from the CBN, the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, NSIA, and the Africa Finance Corporation.
