Elon musk pays Hostess $250,000 to keep quiet over sexual harassment

Aflight attendant who accused SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk of sexually harassing her on a flight in 2016, was reportedly paid $250,000 to remain silent on the matter. The air hostess was paid by SpaceX in 2018 to settle the claim of sexual misconduct against Elon Musk. Elon Musk The attendant, who used to work on a contract basis for the corporate jet fleet of SpaceX, accused Musk of exposing himself to her, rubbing her leg without consent and offering to buy her a horse or an erotic massage, the Business Insider reported. "The incident is alleged in a declaration signed by a friend of the attendant and prepared in support of her claim.  The details in this story are drawn from the declaration as well as other documents, including email correspondence and other records shared with Insider by the friend," added the Business Insider report. Reactions as jss1 student sues Ekiti state gov, demands N15m.

A JSS 1 student Gift Agenosia has sued the Ekiti state government seeking 15 million in damages after she was suspended for indecent dressing.

Gift was suspended after her father, a police Sergeant Elijah on May 22 mobilized four armed policemen to manhandle some teachers in the school for scolding his daughter who was accused of coming to school with an indecent hairdo against the school rules and regulations.

The student claimed she was given 20 lashes at the assembly resulting in bruises, life threatening scars, blood stained uniform and fainting. She is demanding 15 million compensation.

This  brought a lot of reactions from Nigerians.

*To establish International Financial Centre in 12 months Plans are underway for establishment of the Nigerian International Financial Centre, NIFC, in the next 12 months, just as the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, gets set to roll out the N15 trillion Infrastructure Corporation of Nigeria (Infra-Co) next month. Disclosing these at the ongoing 14th annual banking and finance conference organised by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN, in Abuja yesterday, Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele, said, the NIFC will act as an international gateway for capital and investments in the country.
