Elon musk pays Hostess $250,000 to keep quiet over sexual harassment

Aflight attendant who accused SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk of sexually harassing her on a flight in 2016, was reportedly paid $250,000 to remain silent on the matter. The air hostess was paid by SpaceX in 2018 to settle the claim of sexual misconduct against Elon Musk. Benue takes over case of lady raped by worker

The Benue State Government,  through the Ministry of Justice, on Tuesday petitioned security agencies in the state to investigate an alleged case of rape of a female student of the Federal Science and Technical College, Otukpo.

It was gathered that a 50-year old man, who is a staff member of the institution, was suspended for allegedly raping the 16-year-old SSS 3 female student of the school.

It was further gathered that the suspect had been suspended from the institution, following the allegation.

However, the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Michael Gusa, said on Thursday that the government had taken up the matter to ensure that justice was served.

Gusa said the ministry had since written to the Commissioner of Police and the Director, Department of State Services to investigate and bring the culprit to book.
 
The statement reads partly, “There is an online publication in which the author indicated that there was a sexual assault on a female student of FSTC by a worker of the college and the governor directed that I take up the matter with the security agencies for proper investigation, so that the culprit can be brought to justice because it is a threat to female children who are in school.

“For staff of the school to assault female student, it does not speak well of our society and it doesn’t also speak well of the future of the girl child. As such the state government will not fold its arms and watch,” Gusa said.
