Elon musk pays Hostess $250,000 to keep quiet over sexual harassment

Aflight attendant who accused SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk of sexually harassing her on a flight in 2016, was reportedly paid $250,000 to remain silent on the matter. FCT to make CCTV compulsory to estates

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello, said it would be mandatory for Closed Circuit Television cameras to be mounted in all estates in the nation’s capital.

The minister said it would also be mandatory for all estates in the territory to deploy solar lights on their perimeter fence and along streets within estates.

He said these were parts of efforts to secure lives and property of residents.

According to a statement on Wednesday by his Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, the minister spoke at the inauguration of a private-owned Smart Estate in Abuja.

He said emphasis would be placed on ensuring that estates are managed properly with greater emphasis on security and the environment. The statement was titled, ‘FCT minister mandates deployment of CCTV cameras, solar lighting in Abuja estates.’

It partly read, “Our focus would be ensuring that estates are managed properly to the benefit of the residents. Accordingly, greater emphasis would be placed on security and environmental matters.

“It would be made mandatory for every estate in the FCT to deploy CCTV cameras with recording facilities and solar lights on perimeter fences and along the streets in the estates.
 
“Furthermore, no scavengers would be allowed to act as refuse collectors within estates. Each estate would be expected to employ the services of reputable companies registered by the AEPB.”
